Another Day Another Dollar

Whats good all my fans on twitter, facebook, myspace and myyearbook. Lots of things have gone on since my last blog for sure. I am workin with three different producers right now. Workin on like 3 new songs. My latest one is titled Love Letter. It was inspired by the love of my life Shavn . It will be posted as soon as it is done that is for sure. I am so glad to have so many ppl following me on twitter and so excited to hear my music when it gets done. That makes me feel a whole lot better about what I am doing. I am upset that I don't have internet like I use to so that I can write to you guys everyday. I am on twitter daily tho through my phone. But it is hard to respond to everybody on there but believe me I try. Once I do get internet here I will for sure be keeping up with all my fans and all of you that are interested in my music and what is going on with my life. Like I said in my last blog I moved to Virginia with my boyfriend. I love it here. Altho I am still lookin for a job just being able to spend the time with my man everyday makes moving here worth every bit of it. Plus I know that he supports me and my music. He is excited about my future and says that he will be there to support me every step of the way. Which that makes me very happy. Well I don't know what else to tell you all but just keep lookin for more updates... Love you all and thanks for your support.

Latest Update

Hello to all of my fans on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace and Myyearbook. Things are going ok here in virginia I am going to ohio to pick up the rest of my clothes and then I am moving here to virginia with my boyfriend. So I got some pretty good news the other night. I met another record producer and he wants to feature me on his newest record. So my foot is once again in the door. I am super excited about all that. I know its just a small step but none the less its a start. I am working on a couple other songs. Trying to get a new keyboard so that I can write the music to go with these lyrics. I am sure you all will like what you hear. The lyrics are really down to earth and has a lot to do with things that a lot of people go through. From divorce to abuse... from love to hate... from suicide to loving life.... I hope that you all follow me through it all. I hope that this blog keeps you updated on what is going on and what I am going through as I travel on this journey. Please just bear with me cause right now I have no internet. But I will try to keep you updated as much I can. I hope that you enjoy the blogs. My fans are going to be what makes me who I am. So please just bear with me and I will keep you updated on everything as I can. You are awesome and just keep lookin for more updates and information on more music to come...

Long TIme No See!!!

Hello to all my fans on twitter, facebook, myspace, and myyearbook. I am hoping that all of you are doing well and that you are continuing to follow your dreams. I am out here in Virginia lookin for a job and chillin with my boo. I am still workin on that music tho. Its kinda hard not having internet right now but I will get all that up and running soon. Which I really can't wait cause I am going crazy not being able to twitter and keep in touch with all my fans. I guess that is just the way that it goes sometimes. You always have your ups and downs you just have to know how to over come the downs and get back up no matter what. Just keep dreamin and believing and everything will work out just fine. So yeah anyway I am still waiting for my producer to email what I recorded so I can work on it and turn it into something worth selling.. if you know what I'm sayin. I have so much stuff on my mind lately and it is making it really easy to just sit down at my laptop or with a pen and paper and just start writing out a song. It seems like when I have a lot of stuff on my mind I usually get my best songs then. So I guess I am going to tell you a little bit about why I started writing and singing and all that jazz. So I grew up in a very musically talented family altho none of them ever made anything of it. My great grandmother played the guitar and the banjo. Yes I know you all are thinkin that is super country but it is what it is. If you ever get the chance to talk to me on the phone you will hear how country I am. Anyway.. My grandmother played the guitar and piano and sang of course. My mother can play the piano a little bit and sings. So it is just something I inherited I guess. Anyway I learned my first song and started singing when I was 8 months old. Not even walkin yet and I was singing “Jesus Loves Me” at the top of my lungs. My grandmother taught me my first song and I am inspired by her even tho she is no longer here. At the age of 12 she was teaching me how to play the piano. I guess she just taught me the basics I picked up on the rest of it on my own. I also play the flute which is some what of a difficult instrument to play. When my grandmother passed away right before Christmas it hit me really hard. Then on January 1^st 2000 I started writing music. The first song I wrote was written about how much she meant to me and how much I missed her. All my songs to this day are dedicated to her because she always told me to go for my dream and she inspired me to be the best. I have always dreamed of being a singer and she told me if I wanted it to go for it. I just never knew how. Now I am meeting all kinds of people and I am going for it. I want to make her proud. All my songs have a lot of heart and meaning in them because most of them are about things I have gone through. I write all types of music from rock, to r&b to country. I wrote songs about all different topics like suicide, love, hate, abuse... I bet if you name it I have lived through it and wrote about it. Well this entry for today is really long so I am going to end it here but stay tuned for more episodes of In The Life....

LETS GO PEOPLE!!!

Alright all my fans on twitter, facebook, myspace and myyearbook... I has been a minute since i last blogged i have been extremely busy lookin for a job... this economy really sucks but i have an interview tomorrow with a daycare which is the job i really wanted so everyone pray that it goes well... Anyway enough about that I recorded on monday and i was nervous cause it was my first time being recorded and on top of that not only was i being recorded i was recording a song that i wrote... So i was extremely nervous but my producer at Moovdacrowd Production said that i shouldn't be nervous because its my stuff and i should be confident in what i did. He said i need to just sing it like "yeah i am a bad bitch cause not only did i write this but i can sing it to" after that little pep talk i relaxed and it came out pretty good... We gotta go back over it and do some touch ups and add a little bit more to the music... i might play a little piano in it and spice it up a little maybe add some harmony or something... but once it is all done i will post it so you all can listen to it and tell me what you think... I also played a little song that i had been working on and he is going to bump it up for me then i am going to add lyrics to it.... So it should be fire... Its a slow process but i am not going to give up... It is my dream and i will acheive it.... Thank you all for being behind me and supporting me... trust me it helps a lot... I love it... Well i am going to end this blog for now... but stayed tuned for the next episode of in the life.... LOL

Been Busy!!!

Hello to my fellow fans on twitter, myspace, facebook, and myyearbook. I have been so busy tryin to get these songs finished. I am going later today to record a couple of them. i am so blessed i am living my dream. I have just been so busy that i have not had a chance to blog. but once i get this stuff recorded and it sounds good i will post so you all can listen. Well gotta get back to work.... Going to the studio at around 1 so i will hit you all up later....

New Song just about done

hello again to all my fans on twitter, myspace, facebook and yearbook.... So the song is just about done... The music is done... the lyrics are done... now just need to piece it together and record it.... I hope that once it is all done you all will like it... When i post it i do want feedback for sure..... Yesterday was a pretty busy day for me... I got out lookin for a job... UGH this economy and job market sucks.... Then came home and was workin on the new song... Title of the song is "When You're Gone" i am going to post the link to the music to the song... i might tweak it just a little but for the most part it is done... after all that was done my sister came over with my three beautiful nieces... so i chilled with them for a little while.. then i got on twitter and shout out to Diddy he made history tonight by having a P.Twitty TV Live... That was hawt let me tell you... if you are not on twitter you should seriously join and add me for sure "allaboutmymusic" I am thinkin bout joinin the marines or the army... not real sure at the moment but going to meet with a recruiter later today... Well i am going to end this blog for now be sure to listen to the music for the new song. Leave me comments on here and check out my myspace....

Just an update

Hello again to all my fellow twitter, facebook, myspace and yearbook fans. Just sitting down to write this new blog. Was up early this morning looking for a job. Man this economy sucks right now. I got laid off my other job bout a month ago and have been lookin ever since. but anyway what is how i started my day. Now i am back home sittin in bed writing this blog, texting my peeps like a crazy person and of course I'm on twitter. So i finished the fast i was on at about 3 this morning. What an amazing feeling it is after fasting. your mind and your spirit feel so much stronger. i am almost finished with one of the songs i started the other night. well at least with the lyrics and music anyway. Still gotta sit down and try to record it but it will get there. Tryin to find the right record producer to get my music out to is a totally different story all on it own. If anyone following my blog knows of any good record producers here in ohio leave me a comment or hit me up on twitter,myspace, facebook... however you feel neccessary. Its a lot of hard work and a lot of dedication but I know if i stay focused with God I can do all things. Eventually i will be actually makin money and givin the fans the type of music they are lookin for. Well its time to get back to work on the music so i am going to sign off for now.
